Barbara Sue Phillips

Barbara Sue Phillips, age 84, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away at her home on November 14, 2023.

Barbara was born in Mitchell County, North Carolina to the late Burnie H. Ollis and Frances M. Garland Ollis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Phillips.

Barbara was an exceptional homemaker and mother. She was also a lifelong member of Martindale Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed flowers, working on puzzles, and conversing with her cousins on the phone.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Kathy (Mike) Parrott and Jeff (Robyn) Phillips; grandchildren, William and Mitchell Parrott, Madison Phillips, and Morgan (Joseph) Vollmer; and several special cousins.

Barbara’s family will receive friends from 11:00 am -12:30 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow, at 12:30 pm, under the direction of Pastor Delbert Storie. A graveside service will commence at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Those attending are asked to gather at the graveside by 1:55 pm.
