Ronnie Blaine Clawson

Ronnie Blaine Clawson, 49 of 1965 Conklin Road, Limestone died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Johnson City and had lived in Johnson City or Greene County all of his life. Ronnie was a son of Edward and Lelia Freeman Clawson of Johnson City. He was a retired truck driver who had driven for many years for the C. E. Minerals Company and also as a long haul driver. He attended the Open Door Baptist Church and liked to write and perform music and was a member of a C.B. Radio club. In addition to his parents he is survived by: two sons, Brian Ronnie Clawson of Limestone and Waylon Aaron Clawson of Greene County; a daughter Misty Jill Clawson of Greene County and a foster daughter Sabrina Jones of Greene County; a brother Larry Clawson of Johnson City; a sister, Mary Ann Walser of Johnson City; his former wife Jill Hicks of Greene County; several nieces, nephews, aunts and an uncle. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, July 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Mack Houston and Dr. Fred Holcumb. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. until time of service at two. A committal service will be conducted in the Monte Vista Memorial Park following the funeral service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
