Sammy Carver

Mr. Sammy Ervin Carver, 70, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Washington County, he was the son of the late Charlie Ervin and Mary Ingram Carver. Sammy was a truck driver for Ballenger for 26 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant brother, William Carver. He is survived by his son, Mark Carver and wife Deanna; three grandchildren; sister Alice Marie Dalton and husband Phillip; brother Robert E. 'Buck'? Carver and wife Volena; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends, Sunday, 11:30-1:00pm, at Morris Baker Funeral Home, South Chapel. Funeral Services will be held, Sunday, 1:00pm, at Morris Baker Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Pete Booher officiating. Graveside services are private to the family. Pallbearers: Mark Carver, Chris Carver, Phillip M. Dalton Jr., Kenneth Ingram, Canaan Ingram, Scott Ingram.
