Adelaide Pickle McInturff, 87, a life long resident of Johnson City, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Lakebridge Health Care Center. 'Addie', as she was known, was a very kind, sweet, and caring person. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved gardening, cooking, and traveling. She was a member of First Christian Church and a member of the Mr. and Mrs. Sunday school class. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Claude McInturff, and her parents William and Addie Belle Dinsmore Pickle and three sisters. Survivors include: two sons, Larry McInturff and his wife Joanne, Kingsport, and Steve McInturff and his wife Barbara, Tampa, FL; one daughter, Teresa Isaacs and her husband John, Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Larry Shannon Burnette, California, Sommer Hill and her husband Chris, Heather Isaacs, all of Johnson City, Loren, Britton and Stephen McInturff, all of Tampa, FL, and Ashley Nicole McInturff, Kingsport; three great grandchildren, John Ryder and Addie Hill, Johnson City, and Frank Hudson, Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
