Alice Faye Arnett

Alice Faye Arnett, 77, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Lakebridge, A Waters Community.

Alice was born in Johnson City to the late Charlie and Myrtle Jones Grindstaff.

Alice was dedicated to her family and spent much of her time caring for her beloved husband and mother.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by: her husband, Marvin Arnett; and six siblings, Charles J. Grindstaff, Jack Taylor, Geraldine Lewis, Billy Joe Grindstaff, Carl Taylor, and Lewis Taylor.

Survivors include: one sister, Maude Little; one special niece, Judy Davis and her husband Rick; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, Michelle Arps, Ricky Davis, Lily and Jackson Davis, Billy Lewis and his wife Debbie, Jeffery Lewis and his wife Carrie, Gary Lewis and his wife Renee, Terry Lewis and his wife Teresa, Gregory Little and his wife Joyce, and Susan Guinn and her husband Lester.

The committal service for Alice will be held at 10 am on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Monte Vista Memorial Park in Johnson City. Family and friends will go in procession to the cemetery from Morris-Baker at 9:45 am.
