Alma 'Sue'? Rodefer, 72, of 2108 Miller Lane, Johnson City went to be at Peace with the Lord on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. Sue was born in Johnson City, TN and was a 1956 graduate of Science Hill High School. Sue was a devoted wife and mother. She left her job in 1988 to take care of her son who was in an accident and was left a quadrophlic. She did all for his care. Survivors include: her husband of 53 years, Ted Rodefer of the home;two daughters, Tammy Causey and her husband T.J. of Jonesborough, TN, Sherry Ellis and her husband Gordon of Jonesborough, TN; two sons, Todd Rodefer and his wife Connie of Jonesborough, TN, and Jeff Rodefer of the home; seven grandchildren, April Martin, Melissa Lane, Brandy Littrell, Zachary Ellis, Emily Ellis, Stephen Rodefer, and Leah Rodefer; nine great grandchildren, Ben Martin, Dalton Hall, Nathaniel Martin, Hannah Hall, Nicolas Martin, Tiffany Littrell, Jeffrey Todd Littrell, Jaxson Lane, Gabriel Lane and one on the way. All those that knew and loved Sue will truly miss her. She was a beautiful Christian lady and a virteous woman. The family of Alma 'Sue'? Rodefer will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Morris-Baker South Chapel. A Celebration of the Life of Alma 'Sue ' Rodefer will follow at 8 PM in the South Chapel. Rev. Jesse Hartley will officiate. The committal service will be conducted at 10 AM Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in the Bumpass Cove Cemetery. Everyone will meet at Morris-Baker at 9:30 AM Tuesday to go in procession. Active Pallbearers will be Zachary Ellis, Stephen Rodefer, Travis Martin, Johnny Lane, David Littrell, and Benjamin Martin.
