Alton Taylor

Mr. Alton Ray Taylor, 31, of Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. A native of Cumberland County, North Carolina, he was the son of Bryan Taylor and the late Meridith Taylor. In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife, Christie Taylor; two-step sons, Dalton Parks and Cameron Trimm; two children, Andrew and Aidan Taylor; three brothers, Jared, Jason, and Lonnie Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Alton was an EMT-IV tech with Wings and served for WCJC EMS and Medic One EMS units. He was a member of Cross Point Church and of the Baptist faith. Alton was my best friend and a wonderful husband and will be missed very badly by many. Alton, I will always love you baby. The family will receive friends, Friday, March 23, 2012, 6-9pm at Morris Baker Funeral Home, in the South Chapel. Services will immediately follow with Pastor Greg Doebler officiating. The committal service will be held, Saturday, March 24, 2012, 11am, at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
