Amanda Grace Minutolo, age 19, passed away suddenly Tuesday November 4, 2014. Amanda was a lifelong resident of Johnson City, and the daughter of Ms Dedri Lentz Minutolo and Mr. John Minutolo. Amanda was a 2013 graduate of Science Hill High School where she was an outstanding student and a cheerleader. She attended Milligan College and was currently enrolled at ETSU pursuing a degree in education. She worked for Rise Up For Kids, volunteered with numerous organizations, including serving as a counselor for the KDA Camp in the summer. Amanda loved the outdoors, loved to run and fish, and she especially loved shoes! Amanda was actively involved at First United Methodist Church, and was teaching K-2 classes with the Pioneer Club. Amanda was loved by everyone who knew her and will be remembered by thousands of people in the Johnson City community. Her smile and personality lit up any room she entered. She loved children, her family, and was generous beyond measure. Survivors include her parents, Dedri Lentz Minutolo and John Minutolo; brothers, John Minutolo Jr. (Brandi) and his children Deven and Rylee, Chris Minutolo (Wendi); sister, Nikki Minutolo and her son Reece. Also surviving are her grandparents Bob and Dee Lentz, Concord NC. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Vincent and Bernice Minutolo and an uncle, Bobby Lentz. The family of Amanda Grace Minutolo will receive friends at First United Methodist Church, 900 Spring Street, Johnson City, TN from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday November 8, 2014. The funeral service will follow at 1 pm with Rev Jane Taylor and Steve Morrison officiating. The graveside committal service will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be John Minutolo, Chris Minutolo, T.J Bennington, Jonathan Darling, Amin Kadah and Taylor Thomas. Honorary pallbearer will be Jalen Pack. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to: First United Methodist Church, 900 Spring Street, Johnson City TN 37604; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, East Tennessee Chapter, 355 Trane Lane Knoxville TN 37919; Rise Up For Kids, P.
