Angela J. Paduch

Angela Josephina Paduch, 76, Johnson City, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home surrounded by her family. A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Geneva Terranova. Mrs. Paduch was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Johnson City for 51 years. She attended Immaculate Conception, St. Charles Academy, and Lake Charles High School graduating in 1959. She furthered her education at McNeese State University with a degree in Business Administration in 1963 and was recognized in the Who?s Who Among Students in College and Universities. Mrs. Paduch worked for the law firm Camp, Carmouche, Palmer in Lake Charles and had the opportunity to move to Paris, France, but met and fell in love with her loving husband and love of her life, Dale Francis Paduch. They moved to Atlanta, Georgia before settling in Johnson City. Angela placed family above all else serving foremost as a loving wife and mother. She loved hosting the holidays at her home, watching her children and grandchildren grow, and attending meals with her close friends. All who had the fortune of knowing her will remember her for her incredible strength, grace, kindness, and generosity. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 51 years Dale Paduch; her adoring children whom she was so proud of: daughter Terri Lowman and her husband, Don of Glen Allen, Virginia; son Frank Paduch and his wife, Kim of Birmingham, Alabama; daughter, Katie Ledford and her husband, Phil of Gray; son, David Paduch and his wife, Leslie of Johnson City; grandchildren: Tom Paduch, McKenzie Paduch, Alex Lowman, Kate Lowman, Allison Paduch, and Mollie Ledford; brother, Dr. Paul Terranova and wife Kathy of Leawood, Kansas; Mother-In-Law, Harriet Paduch of Johnson City; many cousins, nieces and nephews, and so many dear friends. The family of Angela Paduch will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 pm with Father Peter Iorio officiating. Pallbearers will be her sons-in-law, Don Lowman and Phil Ledford, and her grandsons, Tom Paduch and Alex Lowman. Honorary pallbearers will be: Eric Chlebisch, Fred Kaufmann, Richard Kostrzewa and Robin Green. Following the funeral mass, family and friends will gather in Monte Vista Memorial Park for the committal service. The family would like to sincerely thank the Regional Cancer Center of Johnson City for their love and tender care of Mrs. Paduch. For those who prefer, memorial contributions may be given in memory of Mrs. Paduch to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation/Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance or to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital.
