Mrs. Anna Mae Gilley, 76, 425 West Maple Street, Johnson City died Wednesday February 18, 2009 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Gilley was a lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late John and Ethel Buda. Mrs. Gilley worked in the office of the Washington County 911. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Johnson City. Survivors include: her husband Everett Gilley of the home; one son, Mark Gilley and his wife Angie of Sumter, South Carolina; one daughter, Laura Gilley of the home; two brothers, George Buda and his wife Wanda of Johnson City and Suttie Economy and his wife Annie of Roanoke, Virginia; one grandchild, Landon Gilley of Sumter, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service for Anna Mae Gilley will be conducted at 2 PM Friday February 20, 2009 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Mr. Gerald Malcolm and Rev. Louis Imsandie will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Kinkade and his staff for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Gilley. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Dorothy and to the 5200 wing of the Johnson City Medical Center. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Washington County Humane Society, 525 Sells Avenue, Johnson City, Tn. 37604 or American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Johnson City, Tn. 37601.
