Anna Ruth Farnsworth

Mrs. Anna Ruth Farnsworth, 97, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, in the NHC HealthCare Center. Mrs. Farnsworth was a native of Johnson City and daughter of the late Robert and Effie Miller White. She worked for Nolan Farnsworth Furniture Co. and S.H. Cress. Mrs. Farnsworth was a faithful member of Tacoma Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Nolan Farnsworth; two sisters, Grace Shull and Elsie Garwood; and two infant sisters. Survivors include: one son, Larry Farnsworth; one brother, Reverend Paul R. White, Sr.; two nephews, Paul R. White, Jr. and Clyde ?Buddy' Farnsworth; one niece, Carol Leland; and special friends, Stephanie McAllister, Linda Morrison, Linda Lowe, Terri McGuire, Dana Cash, June Wood, Jeanetta Allison, Charlotte Cain, Helen Hudsell, Linda Lyons, Anne Hall, Debbie Knox, Leona Barnett, Connie Wright, Marcella Epperson, and Barbara Hamilton. The family of Mrs. Anna Farnsworth will receive friends from 11 AM to 12 PM Saturday, July 16, 2016, in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12 PM with Rev. Rick Ballard officiating. Active pallbearers will be: Lowell Simmons, Johnny Moore, Jr., Shelby Lyons, Michael Cash, Claude Lane, and Mickie Grant. Honorary Pallbearers include: Tom Damitz, Ronnie Collins, and Milton Goins.
