Anne Greene

Johnson City

Anne G. Greene, age 91, passed away at her home on Monday, January 6, 2025. She was born in Bakersville, N.C. to the late, Luther M. Green and Ruth M. Burleson. Anne was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. 

Anne worked for Johnson City Pediatrics for many years, and she also worked as an accountant for J.I. Cornett before retiring. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Morris J. Greene, brother, Wayne Greene and a sister, Winifred Sonner. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Steve M. Greene and wife, Carolyn, many nieces and nephews, and friends from Pinecrest Baptist Church. 

The family would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for the care and support of Amedisys Hospice of Elizabethton. 

A graveside service for Mrs. Greene will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 9, 2025 in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Garry Edwards Officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:30pm at Pinecrest Baptist Church prior to the graveside. Pallbearers will be selected from the family.
