Annunziata C. Lester

Annunziata (Anna) Lester, of Johnson City, entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 12:08 AM, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was born April 1934 in Naples, Italy and married the love of her life, Billy Lester, in February 1960. Anna retired in 1999 from TPI Corporation where she worked as a material planner. Anna was preceded in death by: her parents, Mario and Elena Cimino; her sister, Maria Rossi; and her brothers, Gennaro Cimino and Mario Cimino. She is survived by: her husband of 58 years, Billy Lester, of Johnson City; her son, Anthony (Tony) and wife Elva, of Knoxville, TN; her sister, Immaculata (Tina) Cimino, of Vevey, Switzerland; her brother, Vittorio and wife Encarni Cimino, of Sevilla, Spain; and several nieces and nephews in Europe and the U.S. The family would like to recognize the special bond she had with Katie Hyman, whom she considered a ?special sister', and who helped her tremendously as Anna began her life in the U.S. The family would also like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of Franklin Woods Community Hospital ICU/PCU who served her during her stay in rooms 3003 and 3005. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Morris-Baker funeral home in Johnson City. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 1:30 PM with internment to follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
