Anthony Blair Birchfield

Blair 'Cubby'? Birchfield, 29, of 902 Crocus Street, Johnson City, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at his residence.He was a native of Johnson City and a son of Kenny Birchfield of Bristol, VA and Sharon D. Miller of Johnson City.Blair was a member of Unaka Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his parents include; two brothers, Billy Birchfield of Bristol,VA and Bobby Birchfield of Johnson City; one sister, Crystal Birchfield of Bristol, VA. ; two great grandmothers, Mrs. Alice Collins of Johnson City and Mrs. Gladys Hampton of Johnson City; Maternal grandmother and grandfather, Gail and Curtis Combs of Johnson City, Maternal grandfather, James Collins and his wife Shelby of Johnson City; Paternal grandmother, Mrs. Maxine Birchfield of Elizabethton; Aunts and uncles, David Collins and his wife, Leslie of Greenville, SC, Billy and David Birchfield of Elizabethton, Barbara Estep, Johnson City, Jerry and Lorene Cox, Johnson City, Rodney and Missy Emert, Nashville, Lisa and David White,Johnson City, Lori and Eddie Haines,Johnson City and Nancy and Pete Faucette of Johnson City; Cousins, Rachel and Joe Cox, and Rachelle Faucette all of Johnson City. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel with Rev Grant Jones officiating. Burial services will be held at Monte Vista Memorial Park at 1:00 pm on Thursday. A procession will leave the funeral home at 12:45 pm on Thursday going to Monte Vista. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday.
