Jean S. Blount '' JOHNSON CITY, TN Mrs. Jean S. Blount, 87, Johnson City, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009, at Lakebridge Healthcare Center, Johnson City.Jean S. Blount was born in Ponce de Leon, Florida. Jean was a school teacher (retired), D.H.S. Newport, Tn. social case worker (retired) and was an active member of the Boones Creek Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses, Jonesborough.Jean was a daughter of the late Hiram Aubrey Stephens M.D. and his wife Sarah Lillian. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert F. Blount, a sister Violet and three brothers: Earl, Lee, and H.A. Survivors include two children: Delbert F. 'Sandy'? Blount, Jr. of Johnson City and a daughter Susan Linda McMurtery of Rogersville; a Sister Olive Boland of Pensacola, Florida, five Grandsons, six Great Grandchildren, many Nieces & Nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 7th, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 105 Parsons Circle, Jonesborough, TN with Mr. Jerry Middlebrooks officiating
