Austin Wayne Postlewaite, age 26, of Gray, Tennessee, passed peacefully in his home on Saturday, February 15, 2020.
Austin was born October 5, 1993 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Mark Postlewaite and Rebecca Schwartz. Austin grew up in the Texas panhandle and always considered Amarillo, Texas home. Austin graduated from Perry Hall High School in Perry Hall, Maryland in May 2012, and spent the following years working in the construction industry across the country, making friends and memories anywhere opportunity took him.
Austin was a free spirit that loved life and lived life to the fullest. He loved being the center of attention and making people laugh. He touched so many people’s lives and he was very loved by many. His presence will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish Austin’s memory include his mother, Rebecca and Kenneth Schwartz; father, Mark Postlewaite; brothers, Evan Postlewaite and Cooper Schwartz; grandmother, Judith McDonald; aunts, uncles, and cousins, Terressa, Troy and Meggan Yancey, Jan and Steve Ricar, Gerrianne and Cesar Kaye and Emilee Diggins, Briana & Michael Spillers and their children Micheal and Brandon, Shay Ricar and James Freeman, Terri and Katelyn Kelly, Sharon and Michael Calhoun and their sons, Christopher and Steven; girlfriend, Rebecca “Becca” Williams and her children, Memphis and Dixie, as well as adoptive brother Chris Clemons and his mother Christa LeGrand.
Austin was so blessed to be welcomed with open arms into the lives of his “adoptive” family in Gray, Tennessee and leaves behind parents, Steve and Sherry Good, Mamaw Doris Bowles and Kobi, brother, Stephen (Leon) Good and Whitney Bell and his children Yazmina and Julian, sister Stephanie and her husband Amos and their daughter, Bella. Other special family members in Gray include Stacey Jones and her sons Cameron and Dakota Pearse and DJ Stewart and Kenzie Cummings.
Austin’s family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 pm, with a Sharing of Memories at 6:00 pm and visitation resuming afterwards, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
