Barbara Ann Garst

Barbara Ann Garst, 73, of Jonesborough, died Monday, April 18, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late Warren Kelly Hawke and Cynthia Clark Hawk Booth. Barbara was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired grade work employee in the flooring industry. In addition to her parents a brother, James D. Hawk, preceded her in death. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard 'Ricky'? and Rebecca Garst of Jonesborough, John 'Mark'? and Holly Garst of Concord, NC; a grandson, Christopher Mark Garst and his wife, Ashley 'Summer'? of Johnson City; an aunt Gretelle J. Kopp and a cousin, Eula Jean Braddom, both of Dearborn, Michigan; an uncle, Fred and his wife Mary Clark of Rock Hill, SC. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Rev. Jeremy Dykes. The family will receive friends at the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. then leave in procession by 1:40 p.m. to go the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Randy Cloyd, 'Bo'? Payne, Gregory Cloyd and Christopher Garst, Glynn Stinson, Kenneth Rice and Cameron Shelton.
