Barbara Ann Julian, 62, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at her daughters residence following an extended illness of cancer. She was a Johnson City native and a daughter of the late, Doll Henry Lloyd and Pearl Hilton Lloyd. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Earl Lloyd and by one sister, Bert Crowder. Mrs. Julian was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church. She had formerly worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Salyers Chiropractic in Kingsport. Survivors include; two daughters, Lisa Copas, of Elizabethton, and Kim Campbell, of Guntersville, AL; three sisters, Dorothy Canady, and her husband Doil, of Gray, Adell Copp and Judy Foster, both of Jonesborough; one brother, Tex Lloyd, and his wife, Shirley, of King, NH; three Grandchildren, Candace Copas, Cody Copas and Heather Julian; three Great Grandchildren, Damim Scalf, Navaeh Scalf, and Summer Copas; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday March 3, 2010 from St. Marys Catholic Church. Father Michael Cummins will be the officiant. Burial services will follow in the Telford Cemetery in Telford. Active pallbearers will be: David Freeman, Tim Deloach, Sammy Green, Marty Estep, Troy Scalf and David Foster. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday and other times at the home of a daughter, Lisa, 501-A Sugar Hollow Road, Elizabethton.
