Barbara Jane Foister

Ms. Barbara Foister, Johnson City, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at Johnson City Medical Center. Barbara was the daughter of the late William Alex and Grace Marie Blevins Arnett. Barbara graduated in 1954 from Science Hill High School. Barbara loved good jokes, summers at the beach and Christmas with her large extended family. She loved her family. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and ?second mom' to her many family members. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by: two sisters, Edna Wells and Margaret Stines; and four brothers, Ferrell ?Bud', Frank, Marvin and Don Arnett. Survivors include: her daughter, Belinda Eichel Henderson, of Hilton Head, SC; two sisters, Lois Arnett, of Johnson City, Phyllis Arnett Saylor, of Jonesborough; numerous nieces and nephews; and her ?fur' grandbabies, Ozzie and Grace. The family of Barbara Foister will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Morris-Baker. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with her niece, Joyce (Stines) Ramey, officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from friends and family. The committal service will follow at 12:00 PM at Monte Vista Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Niswonger children?s Hospital, 400 N State of Franklin Rd., Johnson City, TN 37604.
