Barbara Shelton Tipton

Barbara Shelton Tipton, 76, of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ethel Tipton Shelton. She was born August 2, 1937 in Erwin, Tennessee. She is survived by: husband, Raymond E. Tipton; son, Raymond Keith Tipton of Johnson City, TN.; daughter, Carrie Theresa Murray of Unicoi, TN.; grandchildren, Heather Greer, Hunter Murray, Jonathan Murray and Samuall Tipton; brother, Don Shelton of Alaska; three sisters, Opal Hughes of AK., Kathlene Liptak of Ohio and Susie Schmidt of S.C.; a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by; parents, Herbert and Ethel Shelton; brother, Robert Shelton; sister, Carrie Phillips and granddaughter, Chandler Murray.
