Barbara Sue Mcgaha

Barbara Sue McGaha, born May 24, 1949 passed away August 21, 2016. Preceded in death by: her father, Norman ?Mac' McGaha, and sister-in-law, Sandra Crutcher McGaha. Survived by: her mother, Betty Vineyard McGaha; sister, Betty Ann McGaha Furches (James); brothers, David E. McGaha and J. Michael McGaha; nephews, Jeff and Craig Furches; nieces, Cassie and Amie McGaha; and the Davidson Clan. Faithful member of First United Mehtodist Church where she served as part time financial secretary. Retired from the Johnson City School System in 2000 after 30 years of service (teaching at North Junior High and Liberty Bell Middle School; and as administrator at Science Hill High School). The service of celebration will be held at First United Methodist Church, 900 Spring Street, Johnson City, TN on Wednesday, August 24 at 6:30 PM. The Reverend Jane Taylor will be the worship leader. The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church pastor?s housing fund.
