Beatrice C. 'Bea' Belliston, 96, of 3867 Highway 81S, Jonesborough died Saturday, March 19, 2005 in the Lakebridge Health Care Center in Johnson City. Mrs. Belliston was a native and had lived most of her life in Washington County. She was a daughter of the late James Bruce and Ada Hauck Johnson. Mrs. Belliston was a former cook on the railroad along with her husband, the late Leroy Belliston, who was a chef. Mrs. Belliston was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Johnson City. She is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Survivors include: one daughter, Rita Pardue of Johnson City; one sister, Agnes Tittle of Jonesborough, one grandson, Kevin L. Shaw of Jonesborough, one granddaughter and husband, Lisa and Randall Shaw Lewis of Jonesborough, three great grandchildren, Brandie Shaw, Meagan Shaw, and Cody Shaw. A graveside funeral service for Beatrice C. 'Bea' Belliston will be conducted at 12 Noon Tuesday, March 22, 2005 in the Sevier Cemetery, Highway 107, Jonesborough,TN. Elder Mark Baker will officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the service. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial gifts be sent to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bishop Philip Wallace-Belliston, 172 Dean Archer Road, Jonesborough, TN 37659.
