Benjamin Ray Depriest

Benjamin Ray 'Ben'? DePriest, 27, of Johnson City, died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Johnson City, son of Michael and Melinda Miller DePriest. Benjamin was a carpenter and enjoyed working with his hands. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors including his parents are three brothers, Timothy DePriest of Jonesborough, Travis DePriest of Meadowview, VA and Michael DePriest of the home; his paternal grandmother, Thelma DePriest of Johnson City and his maternal grandfather, Bobby Miller also of Johnson City; special aunt, Elizabeth Miller; special friends, Ryan Corbin of Unicoi, Kaleb Kimble, Tabitha Holtzclaw, Samantha Madness, Robbie and Lis Leonard all of Johnson City; several cousins, aunts and uncles; his dogs, Layla and Zeus. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, November 18, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the South Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Harold McNabb. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm.
