Betty Ann Arowood

Betty Ann Arowood, 79, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 in her home. She was the daughter of the late Luther Dunbar and Fannie Mae Oler, and was a lifelong resident of Washington County. Betty attended Rock Heritage Baptist and enjoyed her time there. She was also fond of her time employed as a Nursing Assistant at the V.A. Medical Hospital from 1991until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Bill Arowood. Survivors include: a daughter, Wanda Robinson; three sons, Ralph 'Eddie' Dyer, Jimmy Dyer, and Tim Dyer; one brother, Billy Dunbar; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two nieces, and two nephews. The family of Betty Arowood will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Morris-Baker. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
