Betty Ann Moore

Mrs. Betty Wiseman-Moore passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 91. She had been a resident of the Life Care Center at Gray for several years.

Betty was the daughter of the late J.S. Britt and Ida Hayes Britt. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Wiseman, in 1994. In 2006 she married Roy A. Moore who passed away in 2016. Additionally, her brother, Lawrence Van Britt, passed away in 1993, and her sister, Evelyn Britt Vines, in 2012.

Betty was a member of Fairhaven United Methodist Church where she played piano for many years. During her marriage to Roy A. Moore, they attended Wesley United Methodist Church where Mr. Moore was a member. During the 1970s and 80s she owned and managed Betty Ann’s Boutique in Jonesboro.

Betty is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her stepson, Randy Moore and his family. The Moore’s three granddaughters, Brinley, Blakely, and Baelyn often visited “Miss Betty” in the nursing home. They brought her much pleasure and joy. The family wishes to thank the staff of Life Care Center at Gray for all their kindness to her and our family.

A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 11:00 am. Please meet at the cemetery by 10:50 am.
