Betty Jean Callahan

Betty Jean Coleman Callahan, age 74, of Limestone, Tennessee passed away peacefully May 27, 2020 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Callahan Sr; son, Harry Callahan Jr; daughter, Mary Alice Miller; and grandson, William Tipton.

Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include her daughters, Jeannie (Sammy) Tipton and Margaret (Richard Doyle) Laster; grandchildren, BJ (Dorothy), Fredrick, Travis (Clarissa), Zach, and Gabe Tipton, Danielle (Jonathan) Robles, Ashley (Jason) Taylor, Trey (Brie) Callahan, Christian Callahan, Phillip (Kayla) Jennings Jr, and Dallas Young; and great-grandchildren, Minnie and Meghan Tipton, Sarah Ball, Kaine, Kenzi, Shyanne, Millie, and Kaylynn Tipton, Hayden and Kynslee Robles, Annabeth Taylor, Zoey, Levi, Kennedy, and Gavin Callahan, Michael, Alex, Robert, and Anastasia Young, Anna, and Kelsie.

Betty’s family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Everyone who wishes to attend is asked to wear a mask or facial covering and practice social distancing to current public health and safety guidelines. A graveside service will immediately follow at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery (91 Guy Brown Rd, Chuckey, TN 37641), under the direction of Pastor Michael Lusk. Please meet at the cemetery and assemble by 3:50 pm. Pallbearers will be Betty’s grandsons.
