Betty Jean Richardson

Betty Jean Richardson, 70, 2602 Park Ave., Johnson City, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Richardson was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was a daughter of the late Robert F. and Ruth Aileen Peters Brockwell and was also preceded in death by an infant son, Johnny Harry Richardson and one sister, Brenda Gail Lyons. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Glenwood Union Church. Survivors include her husband, Harry Richardson; two daughters, Kimberly Richardson Hiser, Johnson City and Stacey Patrick, of the home; one brother, Robert Dean Brockwell, Stoney Creek; two grandchildren, Tearston S. Hiser, Johnson City and Zoë Raven Patrick, Bristol, TN and several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Richardson will be held at 12:30 PM Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Happy Valley Memorial Park, Elizabethton, TN. Dr. Charles Guinn will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be James Greene, Matthew Greene, Toby Hiser, B.J. Campbell, Bill Campbell and David Christopher Bradshaw.
