Betty Joan Humphrey

Betty Blevins Humphrey, age 87, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 23, 2022, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Betty was born September 26, 1935, to the late Arthur Blevins and Madonna “Donnie” Harrell Blevins in Unicoi.

A devout Christian, Betty was a longtime member of Lynnwood Church of Christ.

Betty was a homemaker and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved by so many, and she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Humphrey; former husband, Doug Humphrey; and her six brothers and two sisters.

Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include her children, Rocky Humphrey, Drema Tester, and Kimberly Osborne, as well as many others.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow, at 1:00 pm, under the direction of Mr. Paul Peer. A private burial at Monte Vista Memorial Park will occur at a later date.
