Betty Ruth Miller-Holden

Betty Ruth Miller- Holden, 80, Johnson City, died Monday, August 10, 2009 at Asbury Place. Miss Miller-Holden was a native of Asheboro, NC and had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Roy E. Miller and Leota Grace Bennett Holden and was also preceded in death by her step father, Richard Holden and one uncle, Silas Miller. Miss Miller-Holden was a retired secretary. Survivors include one brother, Bobby Holden, Johnson City and one sister, Patricia Abriola, Nashville; three nephews, Richard Alfred Abriola, Kenneth Ray Abriola and Darren Lee Abriola and two great nephews, Zachary Flynn Abriola and Alex Holden Abriola. A graveside service for Miss Miller-Holden will be held at 3 pm Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Reverend Bob Edmonds will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30 '' 2:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
