Betty Sue Clawson

Betty Sue Maness Clawson, age 75, of Gray, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2020.

She was born November 18, 1944 to Elgin Maness and Lois Brooks Maness in Booneville, Mississippi.

Betty served as a registered nurse for many years at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a member of Living Word Church of God in Gray.

Those preceding her in death include her parents and her husband, James Clawson in 1975.

Betty is survived by her son, Timmy Clawson and daughter, Denisa (and Tommy) Latch.

Betty’s family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service immediately following at 6:00 pm, under the direction of Pastor Steve Guinn. Everyone who wishes to attend is encouraged to wear a mask or facial covering and practice social distancing to current public health and safety guidelines. There will be a private committal service at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
