Beulah Grace Fagan

May 7, 1920 — July 29, 2009

Grace B. Fagan, 89, our beloved mother and grandmother, of Piney Flats, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center, surrounded by her family. A native of and lifelong resident of Piney Flats, she was a daughter of the late, William and Dora Mae Dishner Weaver. Grace retired from Nickles Manufacturing in Bristol, Tennessee. She was the oldest living member of Poplar Ridge Christian Church, where she belonged since she was four years of age. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Earl Fortner of Piney Flats; two granddaughters, Lisa Fortner of Piney Flats and Debbie and her husband, Travis McInturff of Piney Flats; a grandson and his wife, Wayne and Syble Fortner of Piney Flats; two great grandchildren, Dustin and Brittney Fortner of Piney Flats and one step great grandchild, Kaitlynn McInturff; a sister, Vergie Henley of Kingsport; two brothers John Weaver of Blountville and James Weaver of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Mr. Roland Whittimore. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at 8:00 p.m. A committal service will be conducted on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Poplar Ridge Christian Church Cemetery. Friends will serve as active pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home to leave in procession by 10:30 a.m.
