Beulah Alice Roark, age 102, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Beulah was born in Danville, Virginia to the late Eugene Fowler and Ruth Dabbs Fowler. She married the late Mason Glenn Roark in 1939. They moved to Johnson City in 1943 and raised three children, Paul Roark, Linda Mackley, and Joyce McCool. They were founding members of the Pentecostal Church of Johnson City and the Apostolic Christian Church of Johnson City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Luther Fowler, Noble Fowler, Cornelius Fowler, Gladys Buck, Lexie Garner, Jessie Fowler, and Tunney Fowler.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Paul (Freddie Louise) Roark of Church Hill, TN; Linda (R.L.) Mackley of Moyock, NC; and Joyce (Spencer) McCool of Mt. Juliet, TN; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Beulah’s family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home on Thursday, October 10, 2024. A funeral service will follow, at 12:30 pm, under the direction of Bishop Spencer McCool. The graveside service will commence at 2:00 pm at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
