Beverly L. Hardy

Beverly L. Hardy, 92, Johnson City, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018, at Life Care Center of Gray. Beverly was born in Shreve, OH to the late Ralph and Ethel Kindig. Beverly was a homemaker but assisted her husband, Russell, at his successful insurance agency in Aurora, IL for over 40 years. She was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, TN. Music was a big part of Beverly?s life. Beverly met her husband at a music studio in Chicago. Music influenced their lives so much, their first piece of furniture they purchased together, before getting married, was a piano. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by: her husband of 61 years, Russell K. Hardy; and two brothers, Russell and Raymond Kindig. Survivors include: one son, Craig Hardy and his wife Donna; one daughter, Cathy Hardy-Parcell and her husband John; one grandson, Marshall Hardy; and one granddaughter, Meredith Hardy. Beverly will be buried alongside her husband at Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Cornerstone Village Assisted Living for the care they provided over the last 2 ? years. Also, thank you to Life Care Center and Caris Healthcare for the care provided during the last two weeks of her life.
