Billie Jean Brazzel, 93, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday March 10, 2022 at NHC Healthcare in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Billie was born in Plain Dealing, Louisiana to Frank and Willie Mae Hendricks Festavan.
Billie was of the Baptist faith.
Billie was a nationally accredited beautician for many years and had won many competitions in her field.
In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by: her loving husband, Lester Brazzel; one brother, JW Festavan; and two grandsons, Chris and Jeffery Gutschow.
Survivors include: her two daughters, Linda Gutschow (Carl) and Lisa Dunlap (Roger); one stepson, Gregg Brazzel; one stepdaughter, Ginger Brazzel; four grandchildren, Carrie, Amanda, Ashley, and Kinsley; eight great-grandchildren, Brandon, Caitlyn, Abby, Ashlin, Olivia, Sarabella, Scarlett, and Brayden; one great-great-grandchild, Kaisley; two step grand-children, Price and Claire; one brother, Roger Festavan; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at Monte Vista Memorial Park in Johnson City. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50pm.
