Billie June Tipton Ferrell

Billie June Tipton Ferrell, 92, of Johnson City, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 with her children Randy and Pam by her side.

She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Captolia Colyer Tipton and Mack Tipton. Billie was a member of Clark Street Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and friend.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, W. Edward Ferrell, and baby sister, Doris Virginia.

She is survived by her children, Randy Ferrell and Pam Leonard; brother-in-law Steve Ferrell; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ferrell and Nancy Ferrell; several nieces and nephews; along with many special friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff of Amedysis Hospice in Elizabethton.

A graveside service will be held for Billie at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Roselawn Memory Gardens, officiated by Pastor Mike Anglin. Those attending are asked to gather at the graveside by 9:50 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Billie’s honor to the Washington County Johnson City Animal Shelter.
