Billy Joe Lambert

Billy Joe Lambert, 76, of Greeneville, TN passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Norfolk, VA. He was a native of Johnson City and a son of the late Otis and Vertie Getty Lambert. H was also preceded in death by his 1st wife, Hazel Lambert, his 2nd wife, Fern Lambert, a sister, Sue Rodefer and a son in law, Johnny Mitchell.Mr. Lambert was a retired truck driver for Boone Distribiting. Survivors include; six children, Jo Ann Lambert Mitchell of Greeneville, Theresa Lambert Jones and Debera Lambert Austin both of Johnson City, Tenna Lambert Arwood of Greeneville, Randy Joe Lambert of Greeneville and Ronnie Dale Lambert of Limestone; two brothers, Carl Lambert and Jerry Lambert both of Johnson City; 1 sister, Patsy Overstreet; thirteen Grandchildren, Julie, Jennifer, Jonathan, Christopher, Amanda, Justin, Brooke, Danielle, Ashley, Kaylyn, Makina and Sierra; nine Great Grandchildren; a special friend, Helen Pashour Lambert; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thuraday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. A procession will leave the funeral home for the cemetery at 12:50 pm on Thursday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
