Bobbie Helen Starnes Kabool, 79, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at her residence. She was a native of Norton, Virginia, daughter of the late Robert Hiram and Laura Effie Kilgore Starnes. Bobbie was sales manager for WJCW Radio Station for many years. In addition to her parents, a son preceded her in death, F. Donald Kabool; two sisters, Ruth Starnes and Ruby Osborne; a niece, Darla Hodge. Survivors include: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Candy and Charlie Hensley of Asheville, NC, Pam Kabool and Gov Emmert of Elizabethton, Sharry Kabool of Maryville; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Kabool of Gastonia, NC; four grandchildren, Chris Kabool and Jessica Kabool of Raleigh, NC, John Crowe of Maryville and Mandy (& Drew) Baynes of Seymour; a nephew, Rob Osborne of Woodbine, VA; special friends of the family, Robert Hodge, Jane Gambrell, Roy and Joyce Garland, Kirk Kim, Gabe and Maggie Ritchings; special friend and caregiver, Sandra Loomis. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the South Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Pastor Dick Morris. Special music will provided by, Debbie Thomas and Susan Painter. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm. A committal service will be conducted on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be: Paul Overbay, Randy Pierce, Tom Taylor, Mike Patterson, Don Helman, Al Lafever and Don Gibson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Elmer Harmon, Carl Swann, Dave Hogan, Ken Maness, Don Raines and Ed Bryant. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at Pams home, 1900 W. G St., Elizabethton, TN 37643. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to: The Alzheimers Association, 207 N. Boone Street, Johnson City, TN 37604.
