Bobbie Jack Campbell

Bobbie J. Campbell, 80 of Watauga, passed away onSunday, January 31, 2010 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton. He was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Thomas Grimes Campbell and Myrtle Scalf Campbell. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.Mr. Campbell retired from East TN Tile and Marble. He attended Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Campbell was a U. S. Navy veteran and a member of the V. F. W. Post #2108 in Johnson City.Survivors include his wife of 61 Years, Frances; two sons, Ronald Jack Campbell and his wife Dee, Peoria, AZ and Roger Dean Campbell and his wife Le Ann of Lafayatte, GA; five grandsons, Chris, T. G., Scott, Ian and Nate; six Great grandchildren, Bryanna, Austin, Guy, Sirena and twins, Haley and Taylor; one sister, Barbara Sams and her husband Thomas; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the Morris-Baker South Chapel at 7:00 Thursday, February 4, 2010 with the Rev. Paul Crowe officiating. Burial services will be held on Friday, at 11:00am from the Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Mr. Campbells family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Thursday.
