Mr. Bobby Dean Holden, of Johnson City, passed away at 6:33 PM Tuesday night at the Johnson City Medical Center. Bobby was born, raised and lived all of his 73 years in Johnson City. He was the son of the late Richard F. Holden and Leota G. Holden and also was preceded by his sister, Betty Ruth Miller-Holden. For many years he worked at the Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport. He was of the Baptist faith. Many of you may remember Bobby because of his side business of auto repair. He installed radios and air conditioners back in the day when cars didnt come with those nice to have things. Bobby was an easygoing guy and will be remembered by his friends and family as always having a smile on his face. He is survived by his remaining sister Patricia Holden Abriola of Nashville, her three sons, Richard, Kenneth, Darren and two grandsons Zachary and Alex. A graveside service for Mr. Bobby Dean Holden will be conducted at 3:15 PM Saturday, January 29, 2011 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Lon Tobin will officiate. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker from 2 to 3 PM Saturday prior to the service.
