Bobby Gene Stover, age 64, of Sweetwater, formerly of Jonesborough passed away on Thursday November 3, 2011, at the family home. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater, where he served in the Church Chancel Choir, also served in the Sweetwater Community Chorus. Mr. Stover was a lifelong dairy farmer of Jonesborough and Sweetwater area. Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Jill Bowman Stover, of Sweetwater, daughters and sons-in-law: Rebecca Lynn and Mark Welch of Niota, Sharon Rena and Robert Hall, of Jonesborough, Beth and Ryan Bader, of Johnson City, grandchildren: Nicole and Michael Harris, Kassidy and Ben Hall, Anna, Luke, Caroline Bader, parents: Paul and Joy Stover, of Jonesborough, sister and brother-in-law: Karen and Rodney Thomas, of Jonesborough, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday at the First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM followed by a presentation by the Church Chancel Choir. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning at the Morris- Baker Funeral Home in Johnson City from 10:00AM until 11:00AM followed by a graveside service and interment 11:30 AM in the Highland Christian Church Cemetery in Jonesborough with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sweetwater First United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, or the Sarah Cannon Cancer Research Center at Centennial Medical Center, in Nashville, TN.
