Bob V. Fox, 74, of 1112 Ridgecrest Road, Johnson City, passed away at his residence, Sunday, May 14, 2006. Mr. Fox was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a son of the late Lloyd and Gertrude Lilley Fox. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Seth Satern Fox. Mr. Fox was a photo engraver with the Johnson City Press for forty-seven years. He was a Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Fox was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was also an avid lover of Antique Cars. Mr. Fox left many cherished memories to his loving wife Jo Ann, his daughter Terrie, and his son Greg. Survivors include: his wife, Jo Ann France Fox of the home; one son, Greg Fox of Johnson City; one daughter and son-in-law, Terrie and Col. John McCue of Springfield, VA; two brothers, Ben Fox of Johnson City and Clarence Fox of Elizabethton; one sister, Varden (Fox) Roller of Johnson City; six grandchildren, Elizabeth McCue, Amanda McCue, and Jack McCue, all of Springfield, VA, Roxy Fox and Nikki Fox, both of Murfreesboro, and Saydee Fox of Elizabethton; special friends, Dewey Crum, Colonial Heights, TN ,Tom and Shirley Palmer of Johnson City. The funeral service for Bob V. Fox will be conducted Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 2 PM in the First United Methodist Church. Rev. John Toney, Rev. Garland Thayer, and Rev. Betty Furches, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Friendship Sunday School Class. The family suggest that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 900 Spring Street, Johnson City, TN 37604 or the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Suite 102, Johnson City, TN 37601.
