Brigitte Eleanore Patterson

Brigitte E. Patterson, 83, of Johnson City, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Pforzheim, Germany, daughter of the late Carl A. and Paula Steitz Klumpp. Brigitte was a retired college professor. She had taught at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and Georgia State in Atlanta, GA. She attained her education from Heidelberg University and her Master?s Degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Brigitte was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Johnson City. Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Archibald ?Pat' Patterson of the home; her nephew, Dr. Matthias Klumpp of Pforzheim, Germany. A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:45 pm.
