Carl Eugene Huff, 75, of Gray, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Gray. He was a native of Beefhide, Kentucky, son of the late A. B. and Lucy Williams Huff. Carl was a retired civil engineer who built water treatment plants all over the world for Aramco Oil Company and had owned and operated the Tri City Jewelry and Pawn. He was of the Baptist faith. Carl had served his country in the U. S. Army as a pilot. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Ellison and Kate Greer, and one brother, Jimmy Huff. Survivors include: his wife Jo Ann Greene Huff of the home; sister and brothers and sisters in-law, Ada and Charles Tallman and Betty Swink; Phyllis Greear, Nancy and Jack Brown, Paul and Betty Huff, Brenda and Lonnie Morrow. Special friends, Sue and Greg Seaver, Brenda and Ralph McDaniels, Pamela Perkins and Debbie Bailey. Carl had several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Monte Vista Memorial Park under the direction of Rev. Mike Richards. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home. A procession will leave the funeral home at 2:45 pm. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Memorials may be to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 31085.
