Mr. Carl F. Ingram, 87, of Gray, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015, in the Christian Care Center of Johnson City. Mr. Ingram was a native of Unicoi County. He had lived most of his life in Johnson City. He was the son of the late Hobert and Maggie Moore Ingram. Mr. Ingram was a US Air Force veteran, having served in World War II. He was the owner and operator of Carl?s Home Supply. In addition to his parents, his wife, Mildred C. Ingram, and two brothers, Willard and Lawrence Ingram, preceded him in death. Survivors include: one son, Carl Floyd Ingram II; one daughter, Ellen Ingram Hurd and her husband Bob; three sisters-in-law, Connie Crawford, Mary Haren, and Margaret Ingram; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the Amedisys Hospice staff with a special thank you to Christa, the Christian Care Center staff, and lifelong friend, Stella Francis for all their care and support. The family of Mr. Carl F. Ingram will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015, in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bill Merritt officiating. The graveside committal service will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dewitt Ingram, Dennis Ingram, Tony Clark, Phil Clark, Steve Clark, Brad Haren, Mark Humphrey, Eddie Roberts, and Darin Crawford. The Boone Dam Post # 4933 will accord military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter, 3411 N. Roan St., Johnson City, TN 37601.
