Dr. Carlton ?Shef' Villier, 71, of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 in the Johnson City Medical Center, following an extended illness. Dr. Villier was a native of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He was a son of the late Arthur Carlton and Florence Mastin Villier. Dr. Villier proudly served in the U. S. Army. His education included the Mayo Clinic School for Nurse Anesthesia and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He worked as a podiatrist. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Villier, and niece, Lisa Main. Survivors include: his wife of 46 years, Betty Shelton Villier, of the home; brother, Robert H. Villier, of Johnson City; sister, Gale Villier, of Lancaster, CA; brother-in-law, Ralph Shelton and his wife Tammy, of Belleair, FL; brother-in-law, Dr. Richard Shelton and his wife Judy, of Birmingham, AL; and several nieces and a nephew. The family of Dr. Carlton ?Shef' Villier will receive friends from 6 pm until 7:30 pm Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A graveside service is scheduled for 12 pm Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Bishop Warren Jones will officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker by 11:30 am Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery for those services.
