Catherine Louise Gouge

June 19, 1944 — April 14, 2022

Catherine Louise Gouge, 77, Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her residence.

Catherine was the daughter of the late Claude and Virginia Carter.

Catherine was of the Baptist faith and worked at Hills Department Store for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by: her son, Aaron Gouge; one brother, Todd Carter; ex-husband and father of her children, Frank Thomas Gouge; and her special love, Terry Rhea.

Survivors include: two children, Troy Gouge and his wife Lisa and Scott Gouge and his wife Karen; five grandchildren, Cristina Riffey and her husband Chuck, Derek Gouge, Bradley Gouge and his wife Kim, Steven Gouge and Kaden Gouge; three great grandchildren, Haylie and Harper Riffey and Cheyanne Gouge; one sister, Claudette Hambrick; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice for the care they provided to Catherine during her time of need.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM at Monte Vista Memorial Park on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Family and friends are asked to meet at Morris-Baker Funeral Home by 11:45 AM to go in procession to the cemetery.
