Charles Junior Gunn

Charles Junior Gunn, 47, of 145 Rosewood Circle, Apt. 3, Elizabethton, died Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was a native of Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Junior Lee and Lois Fultz Gunn. Charles was a painter and sheetrock installer, he loved people, never met a stranger and loved fishing, spending time with his children and being out of doors. Survivors include: a son, Andrew Charles Gunn and daughter, Savaneia Latory Gunn both of Elizabethton; five brothers, Lee Gunn of Johnson City, Walter Gunn of North Carolina, Earl Gunn of New York, Allen Hardwick and David Carrendar both of Kentucky; six sisters, Shirley Ward of Kentucky, Kay Gunn of W. Virginia, Carolyn Loveall of Kentucky, Joyce Gunn of Georgia, Susan Gunn of Knoxville and Beth McGill of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 2, 2007 in the Cochran Cemetery, Carter, County, at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Rev. Brian Burton and Rev. Dallas Gregg. The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Morris '' Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday. A procession will leave the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. to go to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Brian Nickles, Robbie Guinn, David Carrendar, J. L. Reedy, Lee Gunn and ron Whitfield.
