Charles Kelly Hamilton, Jr.

Charles Kelly Hamilton, Jr., 37, 444 Harmony Circle, Gray, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Hamilton was a Durham, NC native and had lived in Washington County, TN for the past few years. He was a son of Charles Kelly Hamilton, Sr, Gray and the late Janie Leslie Robbins Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was an employee of Wal-Mart Inc. in Kingsport, TN. He was a member of Calvary Free Will Baptist Church, Durham, NC. Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Susan Horne Hamilton, Gray; one brother, Chris Hamilton and his wife, Jamie, and their son, Matthew, Elizabethton; step-mother, Shirley Hamilton, Gray; mother-in-law, Agnes Webster, Durham, NC; sisters-in-law, Sharon Hobgood and her husband, David, Durham, NC, Jeanette Horne, Peggy Horne and Nora Paul and her husband, T.J.; nieces and nephews, Michael Hobgood, Lori Filyaw and Kaleigh and Logan Paul. A funeral service for Mr. Hamilton will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, February 16, 2008 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Pastor Wayne White will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery, Elizabethton, TN. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Hamilton, Michael Hobgood, Steve Price, David Hobgood, T.J. Paul, Justin Filyaw and Jerry Elliott. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
