Charles Lawrence Charlie Miller

Mr. Charles Lawrence 'Charlie'? Miller, age 60, of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013, at his residence, after an extended illness. Mr. Miller was a native of Johnson City who had lived most of his life in Carter County. He was the son of Billie Mae Morris Miller and the late Ernest Miller. In addition to his father, one daughter, Cheryl Slemp; one brother, Harold Miller also preceded him in death. Mr. Miller was a member of Sinking Creek Baptist Church. Charlie loved fishing and spoiling his grandchildren. Survivors include his loving wife Patricia Miller; one son, Brian Miller and his wife Danielle; two brothers, Larry Miller and Billy Miller; two sisters, Kathy Scott and Shelby Moore; one aunt, Mary Trivette; seven grandchildren, Gabe, Eli, Delainee, Manasa, Makayla, Miley and Charlie; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service for Mr. Charles Lawrence 'Charlie'? Miller will be conducted at 2 PM, Wednesday, November 27, 2013, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Gary Cole will officiate. The graveside committal service will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Adam Miller, Chad Miller, Daniel Scott, Stephen Miller, Joe Barnett, Matthew Miller and Ken Moore. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM Wednesday prior to the service.
