Mrs. Charline Jack, 93, Johnson City, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 in the Lakebridge Health Care Center. Mrs. Jack was a lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Charles Worley and Lucille Potts Swingle. In addition to her parents her husband, Walter Pat Jack in 1995, precedes her in death. Mrs. Jack retired from Columbus Powell School as the school secretary. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jack was the most loving mother and grandmother that we could ever ask for. Survivors include: one daughter, Lucinda Bond and her husband Bill of Johnson City; one granddaughter, Tiffany Ann Bond of Johnson City. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Johnson City, TN 37601. The funeral service for Mrs. Charline Jack will be conducted at 8 PM Thursday, October 29, 2009 in the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Garland Thayer will officiate. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 1 PM Friday, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Karl Bond, John Bond, Robin Hodge, Joe Bill Hodge, Darren Harris, Butch Conner and Robin Lyle. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 PM Friday to go in procession. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday prior to the service.
